Hi James
You probably have the bridgestone S01 standard tyres?
If so.. there is a whole world of better tyres available.
Bridgestone S02s are like gold dust at the moment (as they are discontinuing them (as far as I know))..
IMHO though, the best combination of grip and progressive break away are TOYO T1S proxies.
Might be worth give Mark at Tyres Northampton a call on 01604 588599 and tell him you're a scoobynet member and what you want from the tyres, and I'm sure he'll advise you impartially.

Yep you can definitely improve on them. TOYOs are good like SDB says and are sensibly priced as well. Definitely give Mark a ring @TN.
