01 WRX - Cruise control
#2
I had cruise control fitted to my Forester turbo so it should be possible. The only minor problem is an 'overspeed' situation when you go back to cruise etc. as when the turbo's on boost the c/control can't/doesn't regulate fuel flow etc appropriately so you 'overspeed' by about 5mph. This would probably be more apparent on the Impreza, I would think. Its not a major problem anyhow.
With all those Gatsos out there c/control makes driving more 'relaxed'.
Cheers,
Dieter

Hmmmm, mine came with Cruise control (it's standard in North America), so I guess it's feasible to add it afterwards. Have you asked your dealer?
I don't see why fitting the PPP would make any difference.
(it also comes with heated seats - pah! And they call it a sports car!).

I asked my dealer about this as it is something I find very useful, esp on motorways. It is not available as a standard feature on them but they know a "little man" who could fit it for approx £500. As to how it would affect the PPP - no idea.
