Meguiars. Good range of products and good value. Check out the clay bar, also 3 stage cleaner, polish and wax. Don't think they do it in Halfords, but easily available from independent shops like Carnoisseur, R-Tec, etc. Also via mail order (Demon Tweeks, or Meguiars' own site).

Used Autoglym for a long time and found it to be good. Don't know how it compares to Wax Wizard.

Use the Shampoo / conditioner to wash it down every **week(s) and between 4 - 6 times a year use the body wax. The benefit of this is that it builds a resin film over the car ie the shampoo / conditioner will not strip the car of the previous layer of wax you put on weeks / months ago.

I've thought i had light scratches on it before and when i have gone over the scratch with the wax it disappears. Obviously only the resin surface was scratched.

Like i said, i know wax wizard is good but i'm not sure on prices. The way i see it is, if Autoglym is good enough for the queens cars its good enough for mine

Cheers guys will give the Meguiars a go. However I have had Mr wax wizard come around and do my last car and IMO he is highly recommended.

Will ring them tomorrow so hopefully I'll get my kit on Weds

Tried wax wizard. It's ok but very expensive. Next I'm going to try Meguiars. When I was looking for ww alternatives, I found that the US prefer Meguiars. There's some info here If that site isn't available then try the google cache here.

I was into Autoglym, but WW is in a different league. I know it's pricey, but it's not quite as bad as it seems.

No experience of Megiurs (sp?), bur it sounds similar

Wax Wizard or Swissol. No contest.
Pricey!? No, because of the finish and the fact that it last's for years!
