I have just had a quote for my annual service its Cambelt change £295 + and VAT
Oil change and check etc £140+VAT
Giving a total of £435 +VAT Seems a bit steep to me how long does it take to change the belts?By the way its done 52000 miles.

I have a MY95 WRX and had the following work done by a Subaru dealer:
Cam belt, supply and fit;
Clean Wastegate solenoid and drain excess oil;
General check over the car;
Replace one wheel stud, supply and fit;
Alternator belt, supply and fit.
Total cost was £250 inc Vat.

My mileage was about the same at the time.

The cam belt should be £120 plus the fitting so you're looking at about £160 or £170 I reckon. An independant subaru specialist may be a little cheaper. I think the cambelt was charged at an hour's labour, but can't remember exactly.

The service for 52500 miles is only a small one and the place that look after my car charge £75.63 for it.

I'd try getting a price from somewhere else if I was you.

Ken
