Hello !
Just to say that I'm so happy to meet the great family of Sub'owners.
This is my first visit to Scoobynet and hope to become a regular member.
My native language is french, so hope that you'll all forgive my accent and spelling mistakes !

Tony, comic timing via the keyboard.... for some bizzare reason I nearly wet myself when I read your post!!!! Reminded me of French exchange days.
Perhaps the next question could be 'Esqu'il y a beaucoupe de Rozzers a l'autre cote du manche?' I'll let you take it from there!!! And by the way Arnix, welcome to the forum. You may be able to do some translation if a French equivalent of the forum is started. As a bit of a practise please translate ' How do I velcro some useless guages to the rear view mirror of my 94 WRX?'........ Sorry, this is just weak english humour aimed at ourselves with no malice intended. Bienvenue.

To DuggE : "lol" means "lot of laugh", correct ?
To Richard Askew : please stay to a close, basic school english : I can't follow your rythm in sense of humour ! Thanks
To chuckster : you and your chaps are welcome in Méribel next winter, but at one condition only : you each come with your Subie and we go on a snowy road to see how you manage !
Hey kiddies, when do you start seriously talking about Subies instead of joking any time ?

Waouw ! That's a welcome !
To scoobychick : I'll try to keep performing my original school english ;
To tonybooth : Please allow me to correct your french : "Bonsoir" is in one word (not Bon soir) and you have to say "Mon français est, je crois, un peu merdique (not "merde")".
"Merde" and "Merdique" are quite rude words but tolerated in this type of car fans.
To 5door98 : Happy to see you were laughing about reading some basic french ...
I will ba happy to translate everything you need but I'm not an "Academicien" in that matter.
I could translate your sentence "How do I velcro [...]my 94WRX" but do not understand your word "guages". Can you help ?

Arnix,
Please don't take the humour personally. You will make lots of friends here. It's just that us english can't resist the opportuntie to joke. Get involved in the forum and you will enjoy yourself.
In my best french.... Bienvenue a la forum de Subaru. J'espere que tu trouve beacoup d'amis ici. continue demander votre questions ici. Nous encourage les brave hommes qui parle un autre lange. Continue. Merci

Arnix - Welcome!
So do you guys have a French nickname for Subaru's - as you don't have rhyming slang?
I've seen a few posts from our other brothers over the pond, but how common are Scooby's in France?
