Arron, why black?

Why not get a colour that is limited to M3s only.

It looks like my step mums 330 Ci otherwise.

I remain a big fan of the flat grey colour with nice beige leather.

Will be lovely regardless.

I think you'll find it's carbon black, which changes to a really deep blue when in sunlight, and is exclusive to the M3. Personally I think it's the best of the M3 colours (which is why I have ordered one in that colour as well).

JJK,

Aaron is flogging his P1 to get the M3 and he has already owned a Mitsi EVO 5 or 6.
I have already sold my P1 because my M3 is on order and that is carbon black.

Adam M, the colour is Carbon Black which is only available on the M3 and not available on normal 3 series.

Aaron where are your flames mate , now that would look good

I am sure it goes well and is well screwed together but sorry it just doesnt do anything for me. Take a 318is coupe add the wheels and M3 badge and 2 couple of false exhausts and there you go .

Great colour black, I would buy a load of wax wizard stuff as you will be continually cleaning it .

cheers

Arron I probably will get the 19's cos it does look the nuts with them

ChrisP, thats the beauty of the M3, it is a wolf in sheeps clothing. It doesn't have to have wacking great boot spoilers and big exhausts and a load of other add on bits to do the job. It is brilliant straight out of the box, and so what if it lokks like a 318i, it will blow the socks off most Impreza's

Yes, I think the BMW 3 series is a nice looking car. I fact I followed several this morning and thought the same.
How about something more eyecatching and entertaining; maybe an Impreza STi?

N-I-C-E !!!!!!!

Looks lovely, especially with the 19"s. I like the light blue colour on the M3 (not sure of the specific name). Definetely will need WW to keep it spanking!

Cheers,

Sorry just looks like a pumped up 3 series to me.

I wouldnt spend that much on a BM myself, but its personal choice.

I do however have to disagree that it looks the bolix.

As said, maybe when I get older, but for now I want a rally replica, not an old mans car who has a syrup of figs and therefore cannot buy a rag top.

Nice car. Doesn't scream "look at me" which may be a good thing if you want to blend in.

Wheels look too big to me - looks a bit like a VW Bora from the side as a result. I'm sure in the flesh it doesn't though!

Aaron - thats bloody lovely mate.

I definitely think the M3 is the natural progession for someone who's had a Scoob and wants to step up the quality ladder.

They had a silver one in when I picked up my e36 evo and it looks even better in the flesh - then you sit in it and the interior blows you away too.

You've got to admit, it belongs in a different category/league to the scoob. Saying that, the years I spent in the scoob were fantastic, its just, there comes a time...

aaron

lovely car mate! had a 330ci briefly, m3 total class
the only downside i could see for myself would be the fact that i enjoy modding. what can you upgrade on it? is the warranty a problem?
best wishes anyway, as i say, lovely car

Some sensible comments great.
I only knock Subaru`s for certain reasons....they are a great car at what they do.
But this is still a great car and does things differently
