....once again PC Plod has decided that the performance car owner is a huge threat to society and that they should rigorously enforce every single Road Traffic Act law.....

What, I hear you ask, were you doing to be so viciously bollocked for 45 minutes on the side of the A42 and given "u have the right to remain silent yadda yadda yadda"..?

Well...I'm sorry to admit my criminality as to being in possession of an illegally sized numberplate....oh yes and those vicous blue sidelight bulbs that cause so many accidents ...they're mine too...

At least the two coppers were good blokes and congratulated me on having such a nice car before QUOTE "having to do their job"...and giving me a vehicle defects producer...

I think secretly they were just pissed off that I brought the speeds down from 115plus as soon as I saw 'em mwahahahaha

And I can sleep safe in my bed 2nite knowing that whilst I was being chastised there were no robberies, burgularies or attacks being carried out in the Leicestershire Constabulary area...cheers lads keep up your great fight against the scum of society

Shame on you richard.

Did'nt you know that undersized number plates and blue bulbs cause 20% of all road accidents.

The police were right to pull you over, as your number plate was clearly causing a distraction to other roads users.

Wounds inflicted by muggers and property nicked by burglers heal and can be replaced. Therefore why bother policing them?

Injuries caused by undersized number plates can last a life time.

Number plates and blue bulbs kill.

I was followed today, out for a drive with the Girlfriend and as we crossed over a motorway junction a Volvo T5 was waiting to turn right of the motorway exit road. As I passed he changed his indicator and turned left and followed me for 3 miles at 60mph and the throgh 2 miles of 50mph right behind me. When he realised that I wasn't gonna play and make his day he done a U turn and went back the other way.

So if you drive a Scooby be prepared to be tailed a few times. A friend of mine is a Plod and he told me to get a sticker for my rear windscreen, a Green triangle with a 25 in it I think it was. I asked him what did it mean, basically it informs that the drivers of the vehicle are over 25 years of age and if they see a young ****** driving a vehicle with said sticker they pull it over. Not something the young thief would know about.

I was thinking of getting one of these 25 stickers myself, but thought the police might pull me not knowing if I was under or over 25.
I'm serious, I am FFS don't believe me then.

I am also one of the UNLUCKY people to have problems with the very nice people in blue.

I was on my way to 'Bushy Tuning' when I was pulled and had 15 minutes wasted, because they couldn't tell the difference between a UK and an import. After explaining to them they followed me to the location, and I waved goodbye to them. Wishing them a nice day and a big thanks for the police escort. I'm sure the locals thought I was someone important.

Needless to say I now have to produce my documents to the local plod, and waste yet more time.

Danny,

How could ANYONE mistake YOU for someone important let alone round this way

The nice men in blue are very vigilant around this way, and are particularly looking out for suspicious looking characters. So they were only doing their job, and very well by the sound of it

Mark.
