Thanks to the Afghan freedom fighters who have hi-jacked the plane at Stansted any paperwork or applications sent to the club address will be delayed as Dick is spending 14+ hours a day there, and showing his mug on TV
Sorry for the inconvenience, hopefully it will be resolved soon.

Chrisp,
Hope you read this (you seem to read most things) . Just thought I'd let you know that I got my membership through okay and it now adorns my "Scooby".
LOL
Mike
PS. Funny, you'll be the only one to get the joke....

One or two of the Midlands guys will understand as well . Honest Mike they forced it out of me .
I hope your cossie is going to be clean for Donno as I want some piccies and send your baseball cap to the dri-cleaners .
I may even make it to Santa Pod if I can be bothered to get up early on a Sunday and in a fit state to drive .
Glad you got your SIDC pack, crafty way of getting on the track days . If I join the RS owners do I qualify for cheap insurance .
Cheers

I'm not from the Midlands (thank God ) and I'm not in on this joke but I'll bet it's some kind of model kit . Well?

I can't spill the beans on this one...you'll just have to ask Mr. Rainbird to tell you what it is (its more embarassing that way )
Mike Rainbird should attend the next meet in his Subaru. Why not bring it with you to donno Mike ? (tee-hee)

Cheers Chrisp,
I now know the three best methods of communication, television, telephone, tell Chrisp!
Anyway, it does the job, is brilliant on really muddy sites (it hasn't got stuck yet!), is a two seater, has a flat four and SELECTABLE 4wd, is easy to clean inside and out and the shee.., I mean women seem to like it!
LOL
Mike
PS I'm sure this should be enough information to let the rest of you in on the joke about one of our company vehicles I sometimes use.... (that Chrisp was supposed to keep to himself to ensure that my street cred didn't take a rapid dive down the pan, not that it could get any worse mind you....)
Ian,
My car is already blue and already has fog lights. The 22B spoiler is on order and the wheels are being painted as we speak. I'm still trying to find someone capable of doing a proper job of fitting the bonnet scoop and then all I will need to do is disconnect one of the spark plug leads to enable it to sound like a scooby, as well as look like one.
Might also give you all a chance at Donnington....
LOL

I have just spoken to Dick, he finally managed to get away from Stansted at 2a.m this morning (Friday) so normal service should be resumed at the SIDC office within the next day or so.
