BLOWDOG ring me and tell me what you think?

His car looks crap in that colour, and as for the interior, even a changing rooms designer would'nt choose it. Plus to get any power from it, you need two people in the boot, and two on the back seat.

Arron,
I tried to call you but I seem to have taken the wrong number with me. I shall call you tommorow morning, need to be in Huntingdon at 11.00am.
You call me, I don't want to disturb u.
Cheers,
Cem

Colour might be crap but does the job at the petrol station ...
Interior. Shows stains, wipes clean easy.
You can't drive fast over here anyway
Though I suppose you could always choose a different colour scheme when you make an order.
I may be being foolish but I'm sure its a lot faster than you think too.
But I'm probably wrong.

Arron, have to say I was massively impressed. Car looks great, and is almost as quick as the evo/impreza, but with oodles of quality.
Not keen on his colour but that isnt important.
One thing that stands out over all others, you have to get the sat nav/tv. Hours of fun
You will love it

Adam,
Thats too deep.
Arron,
I was utterly devastated when I had to hand the keys back, it left that good an impression. The colour certainly stood out, not too keen on the leather colour though. I think I will/would go for a deeper blue.
I have to say, though, I haven't driven a car with a finer engine.
I am putting pics up on the web site, will be up soon.

Look forward to the picks matey.
I too was pi55ed off when I had to give the keys back but I`m lucky enough to go and **** it pretty much when I wanna
Please try and help me to educate some of the saddo`s on here to the finer points on engine and chassis design.
The Mak and Scoobs etc are great cars but........well you know the score.
Just need the M3 BMW plate now from the dealer in Norwich.
Probably worth more than the car tho
Talk to you soon chap.

Blowdog,
Why did you put the car on a rolling road???
What were you trying to prove??
The car is presold and I'm sure Mr Murkett wouldn't be too happy if he knew it had been on the rollers. I borrowed it for two days recently and I would never have put it on the rollers, if you own the car fine, but you don't.

I have nothing to prove Andrew, not least to you.
I have discussed this matter with Simon in detail and there is nothing else left to say.

I am a little perplexed with this whole issue actually.
Can you tell me, before you start giving people the wrong impression, why you think that putting the car on a RR is a bad thing? Because frankly, I can't see it.
It is a safe, controlled environment, no wear to any transmission, gearbox, tyres, nothing! The only thing thats done is the car was taken to 6500rpm 3 times. Which obviously you never did on the roads, did you?
Please explain your school of thought.
Cem

Well with 2 in the front, 2 in the back and 2 in the boot(and i was the lucky one in the boot) to hold it down, it would only rev to 6500 then would cut out(some BMW safety device no doubt)
It still got 319bhp though

Not that I have to get involved in this matter.
But I spent the majority of the time in the BMW with Cem on Saturday.
He treated that car with the utmost care and respect. Not once was it abused, thrashed or neglected.
He is one of the few guys I would let drive my cars.

I don't know Cem that well, but I do know he treats cars of his own and other people's with utmost respect. He is one person I would willingly hand my keys over to and not worry one bit about it.
So, before you start making assumptions about people and how you *think* they are treating other people's cars, get your facts together.
I saw Cem's car at Castle Coombe it was in better than Showroom condition, it was IMMACULATE. The engine bay sparkled!!!! He treats cars with so much respect it is untrue.
A rolling road is under very controlled conditions, Cem will not have put it on if he thought it would harm the car in any way.
I am not slighting your driving in any way, but I bet it was better treated by Cem than you. Just so I don't rile you in any way, I couldn't treat it any better than him either.
I would feel insulted at your post if it was directed at me, especially as you do not know me.
Please do not make assumptions about members off the board that are unfounded.
Best Regards,
Michelle.[/quote]
Are you the boards police or what!! If you are, then I obviously stand accused of expressing my own opinion.
Fact is the car was loaned on a test drive basis, and in my book that doesn't mean taking it down to a rolling road and seeing what the BHP and Torque figures are, and then displaying this on a website.
I far as I know Cem's car is looked after very well, but you can make any car look good very easily, and it doesn't mean that the car is treated, from a driving perspective, with cotton gloves.
As far as my driving goes, I wont go into my history, apart from mentioning that my name appears in the RAC Club in Pall Mall as a past RAC British Champion.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I haven't made any assumptions about anyone on this board, unlike you have about my treatment and driving of the M3 when I had borrowed it, or perhaps were you the person with me when I had the car, I think not. Until you come in a car with me, which you never will, you cannot assume how I drove and treated the car.
As Arron & Cem have said it is now sorted and all parties are happy.
I expressed an opinion which I still stand by.
Andy.

Right all of you button it.
This issue is now closed and is between Cem the dealer and part me and is all sorted.
Other peoples opinions are now not important.

Just one thing I dont understand.
Why does Cem's test drive have anything to do with any of us but Cem and the dealer?
and Arron, I think we have found your true calling. Maybe you should stop selling kitchens and become a Bouncer/Policeman

well, if anyone gave my car a free rolling road session on their own initiative I'd be pretty pleased. Some of us still have to pay for the privilege.
