petrol, thatll get anything offf! only recomended for the removing the glue once the sticker bit is removed, obviously go easy and then wash it all off with warm soapy water.
ps - seeing as you are in Hants, keep your eyes on the Southern forum for meets etc!

I presume you don't know how long the sticker has been on? Another thing to consider is the paint fading on the uncovered part of the boot, this may not be a problem but just thought I would warn you. This is especially relevant if the car is red (sorry can't remember if you stated the colour )

You can all go back to sharking now
[Edited because I thought the sticker was on the bonnet (visions of huge sticker) so my point doesn't seem as relevant now ]

Afternoon All,
This is my first post - please be gentle with me...
Bought my first Scooby in June, 2L Turbo UK MY98 - got cheesed off with my Fiat Punto TurboDiesel. It's a beauty except for a w@nky 'FIA world rally champion manufacturer' plastic sticker/carbuncle on the boot lid. Anyone know how to remove these things without the aid of a chisel and hammer? Or is a new boot lid on the cards?
Any suggestions muchly appreciated...!

Thanks, Jen.
Don't suppose you know if it would have rolled out of the factory with it? Just wondered, as I haven't seen a single other Scooby with one.
Where's this thread going exactly...?

Hi Buzz.
God this site is addictive. Can't have done more than an hour's work today. This is where I find out my boss is a Scooby owner on the sly, keeping tabs on me with a cunning alias...

Sunny Basingstoke, the hailing-shed of Liz Hurley and Tinita Tikaram. I've just read that bit back and have suddenly become very depressed.
Don't see hardly any Scoobies in Basingstoke so I'd be surprised if anyone on here is local.

Don't mean to jump on the Aldershot-slating bandwagon so apologies in advance, but you don't have a problem with keeping a WRX in Aldershot? I wouldn't leave a bogey in Aldershot in the open air. BTW - I work in Frimley - where are you in Camberley?

Just past the Motorway roundabout. Look out for a Silver WRX at about 5:30 each night. I drive through Frimley and sometimes stop at the White Hart for a swift one.
Nobody ***** wiv me Scooby as they know what will happen.

No.......I have had a run in with the local tw@ts a few months ago and it was made plain to them that if any damage occurs to me scooby then I would hold them responsibe. they are my guardian angels now.
I do agree though. Aldershot is a sh1thole.

As for the sticker, hmm, i'm sure that my mate's WRX has a similar sticker on the back, might be wrong though (usually am)

noooo, I think I came in pretty late to RichS's shark pool thread.
Anyway, it's not when you shark, but how you shark, tis all about technique.

I see........
I can see that I am very small shark in a very big pond. I have much to learn.

You should come to some of the meets. They are really good. Apparently. I had to shoot off early at the last one.

Jasonwrx - Would love to come to a meet, but I don't know a whole lot about cars' innards - it's the feeling of driving that does it for me. Don't know if I could hold my own in a conversation about modded STi's, downpipes and the like. Plus my Scooby's green.

Will be brave and join the next meet, Brownie's honour.
Must dash - helping shove a gearbox back into a 206 this evening. Must buy cigarettes... Anyone want anything from the shops while I'm there?
