Question

Yep you guessed it, ECU reset time.

Not done it b4 and have read every bleedin thread I can be arsed to find on the subject.

My question is this, when I reconnect my battery, will the following occour

1: Alarm Goes Off
2: Radio requires a code to get it to work again (OE Philips job)
3: Something else that I should be aware of?

In anticipation, CHEERS

Why not do it the under-dash connector way?

Mikey..

Done mine loads of times.. although the first time was quite comical..

I disconnected my battery and when I reconnected it the radio was asking for a code, I'd only had the car 4 weeks and didn't know what it was. My girlfriend being the sweet thing she is said I'll treat you to a CD Tuner, so off we went and £150 later I was bakc home. I went out to the car to fit the new CD Tuner and when I removed the old unit it had the 4 digit number written on the side. Needless to say I didn't tell her indoors

My alarm has never gone off after reconnecting the battery although I do have the remote handy just incase. I'm not so sure if your radio will want a Radio code when you reconnect though, take the unit partly out and see if any numbers are on it ??? You never know.

Good luck.. and if you screw up your radio my Girlfriend isn't going to buy you one too..

O.M.

p.s. > I've never found the under-dash connector way working yet for me..
