Currently in the position to decide whether to purchase a new imported MY01. Anyone know what the resale values of imported scoobies are?? I dont particularly want to pay this much & worth peanuts in a fw years time. will i get anything new the price paid a year down the line?

Based on the old model scooby:
If you buy a Euro import it will be worth marginally less than a UK car of the same age, so you lose less money. If you import one from Japan, it will lose a slightly larger percentage, which as it costs more to start with, will result in you losing a bit more cash.
The new model may be different, as the UK car is being aimed at a more mainstream market, but we will not know for a couple of years yet.

I think you can expect to sell it privately for £15k ish in 1 year, maybe £13k after 2 and £11k after 3. This is only an opinion and you may find that you get more/less dependant on mileage/condition/warranty.
