Got burnt off yesterday afternoon on my way to Asda's.
By what?
Rover 600ti, I believe that's what it was. It was de-badged!
With around 200BHP, no wonder it was leaving me. I only have a MY97 Turbo which is running totally standard.
He left me because I got stuck behind two cars in the slow lane! Out-handled him around the round-a-bout though!
I've had the car just over three months and it's the only car that's really given me a run for my money, apart from a neighbors MY95 WRX.
Cheers

I had a 620Ti before my scoob and still miss it. It was one of the ultimate Q cars, alongside the Volvo T5 and Big Saabs. If I recall it had the T series 2 litre engine that was put in the Rover 200 Tomcat coupe. With more weight it actually went round corners too.
People did'nt know what it was, assuming it was just another 620
If I recall they had a 0-60 time of around 7 seconds, with an unchipped Saph cossie matching mid range wham.
It's about as quick as a std scoob from 4th gear upwards. In a straight line it's a quick car, in the wet it could be a handful as it would torque steer ans wheel slip like anything, even with traction control.
People often chip them to 225 or 265Bhp.
I miss the Q car fun I had in it.

0-60 may be pretty good, but 0-100 is over 21 seconds, not much faster than your avearage hot hatch, just a bit bigger. If you get wasted by one of these your doing something wrong, of your car needs looking at.
