Hi folks,

Can anyone tell me where I can get one of those license plate mounts/holders… the ones that sit proud of the front bumper? I have a Japanese import (year2000 Legacy GTB) whose bumper would normally accommodate a square plate – I’d prefer to use a (UK) standard long/rectangular plate. Ideally I’d like a mount/holder that doesn’t stick out too much, and preferably one that can be spray painted to match the car.

P.S.
The plate I have at present is somewhat illegal… ever seen how small the font has to be if you want to fit ‘W*** XJA’ on a single line on a plate that is only 35cm (13.5”) wide! Looks nice, but I guess PC Plod may not find it quite as aesthetically pleasing as I do!

 

I'd stick to the square plate - apparently spped cameras (SPECS and other s) have trouble reading a square plate so you MIGHT not get a ticket!
