BMW has issued a recall for all of the new Minis produced to date. The problem is the "remote possibility of a fire or an explosion" when filling with fuel.

ISTR the same thing happened with the Mk3 Astra (possibility of igniting vapours) -- didn't appear to affect sales. The biggest problem was that when people saw the flash they tended to drop the fuel nozzle.
