SS backbox?

Hi,
My new backbox from Scoobsport arrived in the post today and I have just fitted it. The sound is exactly what I wanted, not to loud but a much better sound than the standard BB. The one thing that I was surprised with was the fact that silencer itself is very dull in appearance and not polished. The only polished bit is the last 6" of the tail pipe. Is this usuall on a £320 BB.
Any thoughts?.

I thought the same thing when I bought mine, at least at first.
However, while a polished backbox may look great in a display case, is it necessary on the car?
As you said the visible bit <I>is</I> polished.
These are excellent items, very well made and a year on, I'm still really pleased with mine.
