After having spent the day at Revolution Motorsport in Newcastle, having bits bolted on to make my Scoob go faster, I noticed a fault with the mirrors on my return journey. A distinct, but small set of blue lights could clearly be seen in all three of my mirrors. Sensing that something was awry I applied the brakes. This caused the lights to rapidly grow in size and become accompanied by a shrill siren of some sort. Worried that there was something wrong with my pride and joy I pulled over, where upon I was joined almost immediately by a very enthusiastic gentleman. Who although I had only just met him, seemed very keen to know who I was, and where I lived. He must have enjoyed my company because he has invited me back to see him and a friend of his in a couple of months time, I presume for a party of some sort, I guessing that there will be plenty to drink as he said that I might not be able to drive home. I think that this fault could possibly be linked to the speedo needle being obstructed by the small pin protruding from the dial.
I would appreciate any feedback from anybody who has had faults like these.

HMMMMM oo-err is the appropriate phrase! Pardon the double meaning, but sounds like u were "cruising" lol. I think you should be found guilty, handcuffed and be given a good seeing to by these gentlemen with their nobbly truncheons!![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif)

Hi chaz! yep you been knicked! no party no drink just men in uniform (watch for michelle) straight faces and a man in a wig! he is not a bird so do upset him, hes the host called your honour i think! sort of a game really, he askeds you questions then you say guilty or not then he awards you points wether you give the right answer or not. if you look favourable he might not try to take as much money off you as you think. try not to attend many of these partys, the only party you will need is third party cause thats all you will be able to afford! cheers Lee

Where were you caught? and what was the speed limit? I was caught on the bike near Skipton a year ago doing 38MPH over the limit in a 60. I ended up with 6 points
and a £555 fine
but no ban
The points seem to have had very little effect on the Scoob insurance but the bike insurance went up £150 ![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif)
Get a Solicitor and check your Insurance to see if you have Legal Cover which might cover the Solicitors bill. The legal cover paid for the £400 bill![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif)
Thanks for mentioning about the unmarked Police Astra - I do a lot of miles around the Lakes and wasn't aware of this car.
Good Luck,
Ian.
