if you take your current badge off and use wire wool to gently sand off the black background it will leave a clear template for you to paint any colour you want. I did mine with a wr blue touch up pen. And, it will be a more thoughtful gift being hand made.
I did see one which had been done with pink glittery nail vanish if your into that sort of thing

LOL! I am a girlie, that's why I want a pink badge!! I also want pink neon LOL!!! My other half is gonna go mad cause we share the car. The pink badge he can just about cope with. I think he may a have a breakdown with the neon suggestion!

you can also get the pink badges from your local main scooby dealer as they can now sell them from the "STi" catalogue, priced around 22.00 so not too bad, plus got full scoob guarantee,, so no need to take skin off using the wire wool and overpainting the kitchen table [again].

Pink badges are the way forward esp on silver scoobs. Althought my wife is now questioning my sexual orientation....
...not that there's any wrong with any alternative sexual orientation of course in the new, all inclusive, group-hugging scobbynet. It's just that I don't love you in that way....

I can't believe people are getting this excited about pink badges!!?? I want to get rid of mine as I believe on my black car they stick out like a bright pink thing.
Anyone know if you can get these badges in black, red (to match the seats) or gold (to match the wheels)

Well, I've got a pink badge on my Scooby (yes, it is an STi) and I like the boys - so there!!
Just thought I'd mention it now we've got the new all-inclusive group hugging Scoobynet!!
Am I the only one or are there any other gay Scooby drivers out there prepared to step forward?
Cheers.

Remove your existing badges with a length of dental floss behind them, pull from one end to the other with gentle sawing motion. Or gently tease off with a screwdriver_CARE!
They can be refitted using sticky pads available for numberplates from any car shop.
Reason to take them off?
You can get the paint off the back using Wickes brush cleaner, which has no effect on the silver bits, and doesn't affect the plastic. I did mine with a J cloth sooaked in it, and a bit of rubbing.
Once you're this far, you can repaint ANY COLOUR YOU LIKE and you're assure of a good surface finish 'cos you're painting the BACK of a piece of smooth plastic, if this makes sense?
You can also use any type of paint from Humbrol model paint, through nail varnish to proper touch up paint. I used Plasticote pink!
Once you've done that bit, you may as well remove your wheel centre caps, (assuming they say "Subaru" in the middle), and fill in the letters using body colour, (or a near Humbrol alternative), paint.
When dry, simply T-cut to remove any paint that went out of the slot, and hey presto, tarty wheel centre caps, and another easy perfect finish. :
