Personally, I thought the table is funny!

I don't think there is much to be gained by going over there and starting yet another marque slagging match is there?

Just leave them to it.....

Hi

Really glad that someone pointed out how confusing the markings on Imprezas are. I mean, I really wish our cars could be as clearly marked as BMWs. Take the 316 (you know the one with a 1.8 litre engine) and the 520 (2.2 litres) or the 745 (4.4 litres).

Still... the graph was funny.

There is a definite difference in attitude between some of the posts

'that thirty minutes away I'll be there in ten'

I enjoy driving and were possible and time allows..............

'Thats ten minutes away I'll be there in two hours'

Pete,

I'm looking for some advice...

Should I be looking at getting rid of the gold wheels on my unmodified Terzo?

The 316 is a 1.9 not a 1.8

Not bothered about looking at the thread, as down this road lies madness (and trolling , but I *love* that table.

If we can't laugh at ourselves, who can we laugh at.

Still chuckling.

I am glad that the chart was understood as it was meant as a Joke as humour. I do actually quite like Impreza'a I had a RB special for a very short while. As I posted on the BMW forum if someone casts a stone at me I will throw back whatever ammunition I have. Whoever it was came in there on the offensive, I admit I possibly should have been above comment. I apologise for any offence if caused.

moomin: As for my salary, yes some may see it as obscene in relation to doctors and nurses but,

1. I pay an exortionate ammount of tax so only see about 60% of my salary anyway

2. The NHS is dependant upon its support staff and the organisation will only get better through quailty investment in it's staff and the public health support systems they develop, They probably could find someone less qualified and cheaper but think of it this way... would you take your scooby to "greasy kev's" for a service ?? - I think not !

Hi Chris,

Nice to see a fellow BMW driver trying to make peace with the Scooby boys!

One thing, I havnt read your post but Iam assuming you posted your salory on a message board?? - Iam kind of hoping you didnt as I find that really really poor

I may earn loads, I may earn a little but I would never tell anyone I didnt know, especially not on the internet!!. It sort of sums up what people think of BMW drivers as a stereotypical image.

If Iam wrong I whole heartidly apologise but if you did post your salory then your a bit of a sad man.

Cheers,

Tom.

Chris328something

Popped back over to your site and read the comments.

It did come from a BMW owner at work, he had lovingly printed it out and left it on my Keyboard. After I wiped the tears of laughter away I posted the link here. We have alot of friendly banter between us, but as he 'only' drives a 328 I have offered to give him a head start if we meet on the roads ;-)

And if ur interested I got as far as TW@T

Hi Matt.

The current 316 is a 1.8 litre. The current 318 is a 2 litre. You may be thinking of the old 318IS which had a 1.9 litre engine.

Cheers

Best wishes all you Beemer drivers

What I cant understand is I saw the original thread and with that salary you could just about afford to run a scoob , trade up mate you know you want too really . Or maybe 0-100 in 12 seconds is just a little too scarey
