Looking to change the wife's car as current one is looking like a write off...
Anyone had / got a Justy?
Anyone know what they are like?
Compared to a Corsa 1.4 for example?
Cheers

JGM,
Think of 4WD losses combined with small engine and Subaru interior.....Monty's of Sheffield give one as a courtesy car.
IMHO Go for the Nova (Fiestas are better though - 1.25 Zetec with handling to match any small car).

DON'T GO THERE !!!!!!
I've been driving a Justy for the last two weeks while my scooby is in for major repairs, and whilst the two obviuosly don't compare, there are far better cars available.
Its thirsty cos of the AWD, noisy, slow and your fustration will accelerate quicker than the car.
Unless you need the AWD don't bother....SORRY I don't lack slagging Subaru but it's definately the runt of the litter
Gareth
PS when I arrived at work with it the first time, my mate asked me if i'd dropped the bloke off on my way in...when I asked who he was talking about, he replied " the guy with the big ears..." Says it all really....

I used one of Bentleys justy's a year or so ago when it started snowing )was going to sheffied from manchester and car was in for a service) and the van's windscreen broke (right down the middle as some truck kicked up a large stone ) so used the justy (was snowing lightly i hasten to add ) was great fun on the way back, waiting for the steering to catch up to where you turn the car took a second or two to say the least was good fun though but wouldnt buy one, just not refined or anything

I had one as a Courtesy car; and to say the least, it was scary! I was ecstatic to drive the impreza afterwards; and those who know me will know how surprising that is!
Definitely not Subarus finest effort, unless you wanted to kit it out for rallying, in which case i think it would be OK

Strangly enough Suzuki do a 4wd version of the Swift!!?!
I suspect it must have been a join venture between the two companies...?!
Had enough of looking at cars and getting stressed with it..
anyone got a nice 1.4 Corsa or Polo for about £2500?

gotta say that corsa are poo in the handling stakes. i would suggest a pug106, 206 - nice little cars, good fun in pretty much any trim, especially if you are looking at 1.4ish and handle far better than a corsa. naffish build quality, but still better than that of say the 205. i like me french cars me, so spose i would say that! (prefer my scoob though!)
