I need to post my 4pots the length of the country....who should I speak to about this ?? It has been suggested GPO but I'm unsure they will do this (walking into a post office with a very heavy box doesn't seem right !!

Has anyone any experience of sending this type of package ?

IIRC, the max weight limit for Parcel Force is 28kg.

A set of OEM 4 pot calipers, pads, discs and a box to put them in is about 27kg.

So, you can walk into a Post Office with them - if you can, that is

 

I take a can of Red Bull with me and do my best LOL
