I hope everyone was ok,
Just one point, I doubt the car was really that badly damaged at the time of the accident, If they had to use the Jaws of like to cut someone out then the damage to the car always looks worse.

I have personally managed to survive a horrific car wreck like those shown. I f I'd had a passanger they would have been decapitated due the back corner of the bonnet splicing through the headrest and into the back seat. I luckily was thrown clear on the second or third roll of the vehicle. Suffice to say that gallery has brought back some "lovely" memories thankyou.
Why anyone wants to be surfing for car smash sites is beyond me.

Someone has already said it but it probably didn't look that bad initially. Hope everyone in the car was ok.

I agree it's not really a nice thing to look at but I also think it could do some good to show more of these pictures to the public.
Far too many people don't realise what can happen when things go wrong, people are convinced they will get to their destination without incidence.

Its amazing what you can survive and also what little impact will kill you.
My wife had to be cut free from an Astra that ran into the back of a dustbin lorry that had broken down round the blind bend of a national speed limit road. They took over an hour to get her out and she was taken to hospital still sat in the car seat. Due to the skill of the paramedics and 12 hour spine operation she was not paralised but is severly limited in her day to day life. If you saw the car you would not have believed anyone could live.
She was in the passanger seat and as a driver would do she slammed her right foot on the floor as going for the brakes, the shock of the impact was transfered up her leg and caused the damage to her back, best stae to be in in an accident is asleep (Although not if your the driver
).
On the other hand I've seen cars with little damage that have resulted in fatalities.
Just be careful on the roads and save the rest for the track.![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
