my memory is aweful.
i'm getting old!! not helped by knocking myself out when i came off my mountain bike.I'm sure its rattled a cog loose in the old bonse
question do the dvla notify you when your road tax is due?
or do you just troll along to the post office and pay up there and then
i guess there must be a form to fill in somwhere.
My road tax runs out the end of this month and i can't remeber what i did last year.
Help pls.

They should send a reminder, but not all the time. Forms at every post office, remember your Insurance, MOT and V5.

Dont need the V5 if you have had the reminder.

Yup, they do notify the registered keeper a couple of weeks before it is due to run out.

I think you can get a form from the post office anyway, if that doesn't show up.

DVLA let you know by post,then you take the document they send to the post office with your MOT if reqd and you insurance.
Hand them £88 quid for 6mnths.....Then try to find where you left your car

thanks all. really do appreciate the replies. haven't had the notification yet from dvla.
perhaps if i ring the tracker company they'll tell me where i left the car!!
