Can someone please tell me which models and ages are available in yellow? I have been considering getting a yellow EVO 5 but having just stumbled across a picture of a yellow scoob in the gallery I am toying with the idea of getting one of these as a second car. It would be nice if I could get one for a relatively low price (is £7-8k at all realistic) so that I can keep the RB5.
Any advice which can stop me defecting to the EVO ranks will be appreciated!

The only UK-spec YELLOW car is, to my knowledge, the special edition sport released at the run-out of the old shape model in 2000.

WRX and STI came in yellow for quite a few model years.

UK - Impreza 2.0 Sport AWD Special Edition

No Yellow Turbos I'm afraid..

Jap - I think you can get WRX STI v5 & 6 in yellow... could be wrong...

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

John

Thanks chaps. Jap-spec is preferred, preferably type R or RA, age 95-ish. I am perhaps being a bit optimistic budget-wise but I am trying to weigh up whether to keep the RB5 and get a second car for track days and stuff (preferred option) or whether to sell the RB5 and spend the money on an EVO5 or whatever import Impreza version I can get. I dont think I can bear to part with the RB anyway so that rather limits my options.

I've seen an odd 555 Ltd Edition which comes in yellow. Maybe MY97 or about that time. Might be worth having a look at the SIDC FAQ.

There was a MY96-97 In bright Yellow either an STI or 555 ltd edition.

The only other Yellow is 'Primrose' Yellow on the STI-6 but its a nasty dull yellow.....

Cool

There is a girl in the Reading area with a dull yellow GT either 99 or 2K not sure, it has a turbo bonnet on it at least so I could be wrong about the spec of the car.

excellent. thanks very much. as I have only ever seen 2 yellow Imprezas in the flesh I dont suppose its going to be easy to track one down. still, the longer it takes, the more time I have to save my pennies so that I can keep the RB5 aswell!

Question

I saw a bright yellow one with an enormous spoiler in Milton Keynes about 2 weeks ago. Not anyone on here though, or they don't look under "Was it you?"
