Is it possible? Excuse my ignorance but it looks to me like only Subaru dealers do it and they won't touch imports. I'm slightly confused and if I don't bite the bullet on here and ask, I'll never know will I?!
Thanks
Lisa (thought i'd make sure you know i'm female so you will answer in simple terms!!!)

To make you feel better, I think the general consensus is that PPP is a relatively expensive way of getting a fairly small power increase, so its only real value is in maintaining the UK warranty. If you were to spend the £2k (approximately) that PPP costs on other mods, you would probably get a better result anyway.
Steve
PS my own car is PPP'd and I am pretty happy with it, so I am not criticising the product!

Guess it depends what part of the PPP you are really after. From memory it's ECU, center pipe and backbox (dp? not sure) and suspension, though I have been known to be wrong.
Not sure that the early cars had a PPP available for them, thought it was only the facelifted clasic cars that had PPP on them.
As said, for the price of a PPP you could get other bits doing the same, if not better job. Depends what you are after really.

from memory there is a ratty old Blue car in sutton area which has PPP fitted to it.
the car has rust on the roof & the side smashed in to the owner may let you strip it for parts ;-)))))

Simon, i think you'll find that a MY93 WRX on UK fuel will not give the same as the quoted 240bhp of the Prodrive car. Firstly the WRX is 240ps... 'bout 236bhp.... UK fuel (not jap 100ron) so i'd say about 225-230 on average.
Have a word with David Wallis or Pavlo and they can sort a remap of your ECU Lisa... i've just done this and for the money it's great. A vast improvement... im expecting bout 280bhp at my next visit to Well Lane rolling road.
Tony.

Got to agree with Tone Loc on this one, the ecu remap thing is worth a shot, I'm going to be giving it a go at some point in the near future.
