just to let you know that the shell in bracknell next to the KFC is expecting Optimax on 12th Sept, but I was told by someone in there that they actually have it in the tanks already and if you fill up with Super 97 Octane it will be Optimax.

Yep.. and in guildford the Shell on woodbridge road (i think) has all the optimax logos on the pumps now, as they have got rid of all the standard sul now.

Druddle, where in bracknell is that? I have a very vague knowledge of bracknell, mostly around the twin bridges area.

How much was it (if you know?)

ChrisJ it's on the stretch of dual carriageway near the Bracknell Sports Centre. If you follow the signs from Twin Bridges to the Coral Reef, you'll see the petrol station on your right. BTW it's around the 80p a litre mark.

I filled up there yesterday and Druddle is right about them already serving it under the Super Unleaded Banner - apparently the only reason they are not an official Optimax station yet is because they have not received all the Optimax logos/signs, etc.....

The Shell station also near the Coppid Beech Hotel is also in the same situation.
