You would not believe what just happen, my car RB5 was parked out side my house on the drive. When to go out about 8.40 ish and had a major double take !! Somebody has ripped the rear spoiler off !!! I cannot believe this has happened still in shock !!!
What kind of country are we living in ! If I could the W$%^&rs and kicked the living c£$p out of them I would probably go to jail !!!
So the moral is if you have a garage always always put he car away !!

Sorry to hear about the damage to your car...
That's the problem with the law, if you catch them and give a damn good thashing, which they deserves, you will be locked up. Never mind what damage or harm they have caused..!!
I could think of few punishment for the little runts, but not suitable for this site...
Now you have the hasssle of sorting this out...

Well that is a pain in the ***. I'm gathering it was the RB5 wing with the logo engraved into the side? That would be quite hard to get hold of again wouldn't it? How many were made?

thanx for the reply’s
It was normal MY 99 spoiler, car is not a WR sport, but I am thinking about getting the prodrive spoiler, will have to see what the insurance company say.

Neobase,
Sorry to hear about it m8, Same thing happened to me a few weeks back! They didn't get away with the spoiler (evo) but made a right ******* mess of it and the boot lid!!
The c**ts where arrested the following night though!!
£1225 got a new boot lid and a prodrive spoiler, looks the biz!! Get an estimate from a decent bodyshop, the will price for the most expensive parts and ask them to fit a prodrive instead of what was on. (my bodyshop quoted £735 for parts :- spoiler, bootlid and badges) The Insurance co paid out no probs!!
Keep smiling, the car will look great when its done!
Knowlsey
PS the insurance Co is Tesco!!

Same happened to me on my second day of ownership of a spanking new UK300.
The brake light cable stopped them getting away with it but what a mess
You gotta wonder what these ******* would do with a scooby spoiler anyway. I can picture a UK300 spoiler bolted to the roof of a Nova

Id pay for a new spoiler out of my own pocket and forget the insurance. Youll get one for around the excess money anyway

I had my WR spoiler damaged not so long ago.... the ********* managed to snap one leg off the bootlid but the spoiler then cracked down its edge so they just ran off and left it there. Cost me £250 to fix the spoiler (remeber they cost an arm and a leg ) and £150 for a second hand bootlid.... they ****ed the lid as it lifted at one edge where the spoiler snapped off.

neobase, I had the same thing happen to my P1 in June 2002, I was totally gutted and couldn't look at the car, it looked it. Total damage over 3K, had to claim and now suffering for it. Ultra paranoid now and have bought a second car for dodgy places where I feel the car would not be safe
where are all these parts going ? someone must have them and it must stand out

yer they are probeley sticking the spoiler's on crapy novas and stuff. I am hope fully sorting mine out cheaper than my excess thank god the boot lid was ok.
Glad I am away from the car so I do not have to look at it !!

Well, it does beg the question that a P1 spoiler with P1 moulded on the side would stand out even on another impreza.
It was knicked to order, so it must be on either another impreza, but I would feel sick if I saw it on a nova or anything else.
The police should stop these ******* and ask questions, hang on let me get real on that last statement....

I spotted a big red volvo saloon driving around in Bradford the other day with an EVO spoiler and matching bonnet vents. I never really thought about where the spoiler came from... Thinking on it now...i can't see someone with 750 quid of car shelling out on a new EVO spoiler to tart up a volvo 740. More likely it came from the back of someones pride and joy.
