did `nt use my sti 7 for acouple of weeks, turned the ignition and...... nothing - dead as a
door nail! had to call subaru emergency service. The repair guy arrived after acouple of hours and charged the battery in no time, but he reckoned it was the alarm taking asteady trickle of power from the battery. I find this hard to believe but it is a worrying possibility - has anyone else had the same problem?

I had the same problem with a Golf once when I left it at the airport for a couple of weeks.
The LED on my Clifford automatically switches to half-speed flashes when the car isn't used for more than 2 days, supposedly as a battery saving measure.
Also if it's as cold over there as it is here that doesn't help.
