Love it - you state "in english please" then I can't understand what on earth you're asking for.

Hopefully Dave can

I ordered these on wednesday morning and still haven't got them!

Hopefully be there when I get home tonight.

I guess that 100w bulbs in the main beam are OK and won't cause any problem. I'm asking this because I have absolutely no idea what bulbs are in at the moment.

Just trusting the advice of Dave TS

I thought Philips Rallye weren't E-marked, and hence unsuitable for road use. NP, as long as plod can't see the lack of E marking through the headlamp glass

Question

Dave,
Main beam are HB3 9005 Philips Rallye 100w
Are these the Blue Vision or Premium? (http://www.powerbulbs.com/products/b...lips&type=9005)

Ta,

Matt

Neither you dicksplash, or I would have said so

Hint - try looking in the "Rallye" section (only joking M8 )

PS to the earlier question:
BTW, of course they aren't road legal

Assuming it has the original lights, in H4 fitment, yes. But to use the quaint old expression, you can't polish a turd - unfortunately the bugeyes are not too clever even with better bulbs in. Morettes are the first step to seeing where you are going at night

Arron mate, chill - I meant the WRX, which has iffy lights as standard, not the STi which are pukka

Dave

Philips site shows H3 or 9005 - assume it is the second one

Are they Ok to use for everyday use in a UK STI

Yes it is 9005. H3 is totally different to HB3.

They work fine in everyday use - but remember they are not E marked so not legal for road use in the UK
