Without Prejudice,
Just to let you all know, a group of Scooby owners ordered some carbon parts for our cars over 6 or 7 months ago now, and like mugs yes we paid up front for a good deal, doh, this was a mistake as to date we have neither our cash back or our parts, and we are not talking a few quid’s!
The person in question is, DARREN JONES , he of Dazjaye carbon fibre, please take this as a warning, he appears now to of gone to ground and will not return any phone calls etc.
To top it all off we have even let him keep the moulds from the parts of our cars (some 22b’s) that we lent to him so he can start a business. Pah.
I don’t really condone slagging some one off on the internet, but don’t forget Mr Moderator that it’s not just me, there is about 15 of us maybe more? So please don’t remove this thread, as this is for the good of the community and we have been trying to contact him to retrieve our parts for 2 to 3 months now.
I feel bitter and robbed; no one should trust this clown.

Yes James it looks that way doesn't it
I know Adam is upset as are myself and Chuck too.
It is annoying that I've spoken to other who are in the process of ordering stuff or talking to him about orders that they'd like so he is around but not to those who have paid money and lent parts for work to be done. It will be a year in January I think since we paid up, up front.

I think that we are all hopping that it can be sorted out before we need to make some court action, shall we say give him 2 weeks to sort it out or it's off to court we go?
I have to say though that I have been there before, and it ends up with the car being on finance and the guys got no cash and spent ours, so they order you him to pay £1-50 a week, not a good result.

Why did you pay upfront to someone you never knew???
Moral of that story is 'Don't trust no-one' apart from who you know.
If you want him knee-capped my mate Kneecapper Nigel from Peckham does it. Charges 150 quid for one and 250 quid for the works. Sounds a fair deal to me.

I ordered from his website many months ago, and still the blade hasn't turned up. I even spoke to him on the phone and did numerous emails.
I have tried to get intouch with him, but he hasn't got back to me - bloody annoying!
Maybe we should start to get a list of people who have ordered from him, and paid, but no goods have shown?

Simple equation for you lads
15 ticked off scooby owners parked outside his house in a transit van = parts and money back or extreme satisfaction and revenge

So he has a problem. Like a good guy he has contacted you all and offered your stuff/money back!!!!!!! .Thats what most would do. If he is not making any contact...then its obvious he does not care about you lot. Spread his blood.

the thing is, he has made our stuff.
People have seen it.
What the hell would he bother making 22B spoilers and bumpers for, when he has a captive market?
the bonnets and my bumper were on show at trax do I am sure many of you saw them. If thats the case, then he has done something with our money, not just run off with the cash.

1ST CHOICE
Take joint court action out against him. Even if he has liquidated the company (and he probably has) and he is a company director then can be PERSONALLY liable for all it's debts if the company has been trading beyond it's means or acting fraudiently. This means you can pursue him in court and with the money he owes all of you you may put a "Standing order" on his house ie the court could compell him to sell his house and pay you back. The court could also place an attatchent of earnings order on his income and extract payment.I pursued a case for 2 years chasing the defendant all over the country, going to court twice before I got my money back
2ND CHOICE
Send the boys in.
Seriously though. Most companies that pull off this stunt rely on the fact that after a couple of phone calls or letters people just give in. DONT. It may take you a year and cost you a hundred squid or so but don't let these firkers get away with it. Anyway you can all split the court fees and it may cost you £20 or so. DO IT!

I have seen Kaibo this afternoon and as his firewall at work prevents him from accessing this site, I have copied and pasted this thread into an email to him. He says he will try and talk to Daz about it.
