NEW BEDFORD TRACK DAY!!!!

OK OK, I'm trying to keep it conservative. I've just finished the K Flux conversion, the way it links into the Palm Pilot is just unreal. Now can have rear end flames whenever I want.

Arron,
I am intersted but but on the same score am concern of the ANY car thats road legal again I am not trying to be Elitist or 'Subaru' only brigade
A while ago I particpated in an event at Castle Combe were Track Edicette was non existant ( Except the Mitzy & Subaru only sessions ) 'Nova' Type boys with £1000 specials after playing PS2 Tried using any means to get past along side even trhough you
Agree you can't be too selective or the event won't run Non selective I ain't putting my £30K car at risk. I was also at Donny with a Escort 1.6l estate and Dingy doing it and yep track ediquette Tops

I was covering a day at Bedford on Saturday (their first solo effort I understand) and a good day seem to be had by all, except maybe for the '02 M3 which blew up, and the 348 with transmision failure.
One of the best things about the day was the range of cars there. Apart from a Clio, a Puma and a TT, there loads of Ferraris, a few TVRs, a Morgan Speed 8, more Porches than you could shake a stick at, M3s, an S class!!!!!!!! and my personal favourites, a Jaguar C type, and a GT40 (well GTD) However, the only Subaru there was mine
Although I don't drive on the track, it really is a pleasure to see a good range on a trackday.

hypoluxa,
Re the M3, that was the second new M3 to blow this year, on the same bit of track. For those who know the track, it's between turn 7 and 8. People I've spoken to suggest that the speed of turn 7 (+the two previous quickish corners) is causing oil starvation.
I always got the impression that BMWs were bullet proof, but having spoken to one of the other M3 owners on the day, engine failure is not that uncommon. His last one had blown too!

There you go Lee and Phil all the answers you need to put the day back on.
You know I dont have the contacts to lay it on at this late hour.
Get it sorted and put some faith in your abilities.
Or give me all the details and I`ll see what I can do.
But with a month only to go I think I will struggle.

You have no interest in running the day so just forget it.
Its a no go.
We`ll just book days with other WELL organised people who dont have their heads up their *****.
You know that with just a little promotion it is well achivable

Think you'll find that when it comes to being a **** you're in the front of the queue. Why start a thread saying "NEW Bedford Trackday" and post up "I'm thinking of taking the day on myself"
when CLEARLY from your post above this you had no intention of doing so.
The event was open for all and sundry to sign up for. Its been promoted on all the BBSs and emails to members. Suggest therefore how we may wave a magic wand and "promote" it better.
Its just the same as Trax - IF THERE IS NO DEMAND THEN THERE IS NO DEMAND. PERIOD.
