Just got back from 2 weeks touring in France and Spain....

Excellent roads, really good driving, did 3,500 miles in the 2 weeks......


Saw a grand total of 5 Subarus...... thats only 5....

And only 1 of them was an Impreza!!
2 Legacys and 2 Foresters.....


Only 1 of them in Spain at all (a new green forester, parked up in Seville, Spanish plates).

1 of the Legacys was UK plates as well......





Makes me think I was the only scooby there......




BTW the other Impreza was a red wagon, in Rouen with French plates, gave him a wave, he looked at me in that funny French way..... maybe because I was walking at the time

Took my scooby to Corsica a couple of years ago, only saw 2 in 2 weeks. 1 french spec edition in corsica we had a pidgin french chat in a car park. Still real cameraderie abroad........

ps those roads in Corsica....... heaven

 

Recently in Italy, The police there use Legacy estates

 

just got back from costa blanca, met a nice swiss couple at la marina on tour in their green gt turbo impreza. wife had thought i'd gone on a topless perv patrol til she see the scoob parked at back of beach.well what more can you want, sun, sea, scoobs n ***** all in one place.

We got loads of attention in Spain for the WRC Catalunya in March.

 

Quite a few scoobies where I am, tons in Switzerland as already noted above. Haven't noticed too many wavers in Switzerland though....will keep trying, they'll catch on !

I was in Provence at the weekend - saw only one other scoob - silver all decal'd up in blue - did the wave and flashing lights so it's not unusual between owners. Got waved at from non-scooby owners and couldn't see if the Merc owners were waving or just open-mouthed as they became specks in the rear view
