I see these are quite well priced for whats under the lid, but how do they compare to the Impreza? I imagine they are a bit more of a cruiser, but with 280 bhp, twin turbo's and 2.5 l, they must have a lot of tuning potential. they also look quite inconspicous, and might not attract the attention of my drunken vandal!
Do they sound the same?
How do the insurance costs compare?
Are there plenty of tuning bits available, ie decat systems etc?
Have the Jap marked done anything rude to them?!
Any big spoilers etc
Interested in any info,

They're not 2.5ltr, they're 2.0ltr.
Harder to tune than an impreza, can't decat the primary turbo as it destroys it. Not many tuning houses dable with them.
plenty of run of the mill bits, brakes, susp, etc
best place to go for info are:
yahoo groups,
b4 legacy
b4 liberty
or jap sites
you right in saying they're bit more of a cruiser, wolf in sheeps clothing is the best way to describe them.

Thanks Mark,
I was thinking of a MY2000 model, thought they were 2.5 but probably wrong! They may be N/A at 2.5 and turbo 2.0.
I will check...
