Question

If you repeatedly have to jump start your flatmates car (which I have been) - is it going to do any damage to my car?

Its a MY99 Sport and hasn't made any complaints (yet). Her's is a MY~90 Fiesta 1.6S, which over the last year, my battery has pretty much turned her starter more than hers (oo-er!).

Ben.

Shouldn't do any damage as long as your car is running. Can we all assume she is a babe, otherwise you would have advised her to get a new battery months ago?

You've hit the nail on the head, so to speak. She is a babe indeed

To be fair she has tried to get it fixed a couple of times. Shes had a new battery and numerous checks, to no avail. I think the mechanics just loose their heads when she walks in as they just seem to talk bollox. Looks like its fixed today though, which is good. Turns out that Halfords sold her the wrong size battery about 9 months ago...

Thanks or the info. If the problem is still there, I'll just have to keep turning her over...
