Zymol - jumping to the defence (I might be wrong, but...)

A tip of the hat to John Felstead for taking the time to research this matter properly. My first instinct was that this was an attempt by Zymol US to co-opt the success that Mark has achieved with all his hard work, and I personally think this is scandalous.
I have just sent the following letter to Mr. Bennett at Zymol US, and I suggest that others who share my opinion and concern do something similar.

Mr Bennett,
I am a UK resident who has been a user of “your” products for some months. Thus, it amazed me to hear that you, the manufacturer, contend that the products I have been using are counterfeit, and may cause damage to my car. Having spent a short while considering the information available, I have drawn some conclusions that I would like to share with you. Please note that these are merely my opinions, but I suspect you may find them interesting nonetheless.
To me, it seems likely that the warning you have issued is a cynical attempt to strike a blow at the existing distributor of Zymol products in the UK, Mark Underwood. I have no knowledge of, or interest in, the details of any dispute that may have arisen between you. However, I do know that Mark has provided an exemplary level of service to me and many other car owners who I am in regular electronic contact with here in the UK. The level of care and attention he has provided has been far beyond the call of duty; for example on one occasion he interrupted his Saturday shopping trip with his family in order to deal with my queries, and did so without any hint of impatience.
Therefore, I have decided that if this sorry affair results in Mark being sidelined, to be replaced by a different distributor in the UK, I will not buy any more Zymol products for at least three years. I have supplies to last me a little while yet, but after that, I will no doubt become yet another customer for Autoglym. Please do not underestimate the loyalty towards Mark Underwood here in the UK, or the commercial impact that any decision to eliminate him may have. I trust you will now weigh this factor along with any others that might be helping to shape you intentions from now on.
Sincerely,
Mike Nunan
