Rally Car/Series Downer

Found out today that my dream of driving in the Peugeot 205 challenge is probably over
The company which I ordered my car off has gone bankrupt taking with it my £1500 deposit.
I cannot afford to absorb this loss.
To say I am gutted is an understatement. I have told friends, work mates and posted on here. Some of you helpfully offered your support.
Sorry to post this miserable stuff, not usually a moaner. Just wanted to share this with some people who may want to know.
Here's hoping for something to turn up. Right off to a mate's birthday, time to kick myself back into happy mode
Promise my next post won't be a whinge

Don't have much luck with your cars do you Amanda?
Worth following up with the official receiver. Unsecured creditors are usually last in the queue for paying but you might see a small amount back.
I'm sure some help from Mr Vodka will make things seem a little better!

Amanda
you've been so unlucky with cars this year.
have a good night, drink a few beers or whatever takes your fancy, and hopefully it will take your mind off this for a moment.
we're all allowed to moan sometimes,in times of sadness
see you soon

So sorry to hear the news, I was really looking forward to seeing you race as well (that sounds a bit selfish doesn't it? Not intended) Sorry I haven't mailed you for a while but I've been sorting out my breakup. Just had to pay out £5000 to take her name off the mortgage, so I'm in the same financial situ. Any way hun, chin up, you've still got a wicked scoob
Are you going to the York meet?

Thanks Josh,
Yes, we both, as well as a couple of others have got stung with our cars.
Spoken to the series organiser, there may still be a way to do it.
