I liked it, and the people stood round it liked it too, but my dad thought it was awful, so its a bit like the bug eye I suppose...

I saw it and thought it was much nicer in the metal to look at than the pictures, but the bonnet scoop still looks out of place.

Parking is no problem at NEC but they charge you £8.00 for doing so.

I must admit I didn't like it as much as I thought I would.
That scoop is just way to OTT.
I'll stick with my UK300 for a while longer.

Don't take a car you expect to stay clean. Mine got covered in crap which was blowing thru a small orchard at the side of the carpark!! (Although this was during the gales last week!).

I agree about the scoop - lurches forward too much i think. I do prefer the headlights though.

We thought "ah, they must not be charging for parking", only to find we had to cough up £8 on the way out, DOH!

Cool

To me the Scoob is going the way of the Skyline, each iteration is getting more over the top & cartoonish.

Feel in love with it

Sti was superb, although I would replace that Scoop, but I'm sure Trouser can come up with a vaild alternative Wasn't as excited about the WRX for some reason, I don't think the seats were as nice...spent a good deal of time looking around them, and decided on the Sti as our next car, although that'll have to wait a couple of years!

Cool

Did anyone notice how big the scoop was from inside.

Could hardly see over it.

Nearly as big as some sort of supercharged dragster air inlet.

Have any bug eyed WRX owners seen the MYO3 at the motor show, and thought that they should change?

As there are only slight performance mods I assume that the changes are only cosmetic.

I went to the Motorshow last Saturday with Daz WRX ( a bug eye owner ). We have been constantly arguing over the MY03 car for months now ever since Autocar announced it was on the cards.

6 months ago Daz stood by his convictions that Subaru wouldn't screw him over so soon with a facelifted car. Well, they did and I can't blame him for being annoyed.

When the photoshopped pics were released they were branded as unlikely fakes. Well, they weren't entirely accurate but the facelift was fairly drastic.

Next it was the official pictures. Some liked it, most hated it (Daz included) and it is to those "haters" that I say this...

I've always been a fan of the new shape and I stand in the minority of those who really didn't like the classic shape { shields up Mr Wolf, phasers at the ready }. Now Daz has seen it, and as much as he HATES to admit it, he now loves it. He's considering an upgrade Simply put...

IT LOOKS GREAT IN THE FLESH!

BUT, the WRX on the other hand looked unbalanced with the fog lights :/

I'm planning on buying a MY03 STI in August and to be honest, I can't wait to own the world's best looking scoob! ( At least until the Legacy STI rears its head )
