Does anyone else find the seats in the STi UK uncomfortable ?
On even fairly short journeys I find that my left thigh gets pretty sore.
It seems that in order to get both feet on the pedals you need to sit slightly angled to the right to avoid the centre console with the left knee.
Has anybody found a height/tilt/distance combination thats comfortable.
If I can't find a comfortable position soon I'm just going to have to swap it for a Vauxhall Vectra
Cheers, Ian.

Sorry to disappoint you T3rbo but mine are the same (well they are blue anyway).
Are the seats in the standard Sti UK different from the ones in the Prodrive style version ?
Ian.

I found I was forever feeling that I was going to slide off the seat. No tilt adjust only height. Trick is to put the back up further than you would normally, don't raise the seat at all (it gives it a tilt this way as the height only pushes the back up leaning the seat forward)and stick your butt in as far back as possible. Seems to square your legs to the pedals and stop you fighting to stay on the seat. Other than that probably new seats I'm afraid. Hope you sort it

It's a tilt/height adjustment in one You tilt it more and it gets lowered too. You then just make the back more upright to compensate. I have to say I think the seats in the STi are very comfortable and the driving position is just right.
If you feel like you're sliding off then it sounds like you need to tilt it back more. You should be really sitting "in" the seat

Matt don't disagree... But
You can't really call it tilt adjust cos it only pushes the back up to make it higher, but i do know what you mean
I have to say that once I put the seat more upright at the back and dropped the seat as low as it would go I found it to be comfortable, but probably not as good as a laz-y-boy, when do you think we'll get that option in STi's- maybe in the 03 version.. oohh I hope so
