prodrive performance back box - help

Does the prodrive performance back box increase the performance on a 2002 wrx? Does it affect the insurance and or warrenty?

Don't take my word as gospel but :-
Not sure if it makes any difference to the bhp - It's more about the noise.
Insurance - ask your insurance co. Make sure they know it is a genuine Subaru part/optional extra.
Warranty - no effect provided it is fitted by dealer.
I had a WR Sport bb fitted on mine, which was purchased 2nd hand on this bbs - had it fitted by dealer and informed insurance co with no increase in premium.

I have WR Sport Box on my 01 WRX....much better sound and they do remap engine as it gives better gas flow...only slight increase in performance...did tell insurance and paid a slight premium (had new lights and rear spolier)
