Should I have bought a Focus?
#1
Who cares? I bought a scoob. It is a bit tinny, the audio is cheap and nasty and it feels like a mass market car. No problem, great for shopping. Not a 20k car, until you use it for what it was made for, then you smile. Lots.
I suspect the Focus is newer, and probably fractionally better in some areas.
I live in the middle of nowhere, with no dual carriageways and lots of twisty backroads, so 4wd is magic. I suspect that a scoob will beat anything on the roads I drive on - think Wrynose pass. Horses for courses, as it were.
Colin.

Funny, innit. The more I drive it, and really understand what it can do and where the limits are, the more I like it. Particularly when it rains - it does just a little round here

Eldar,
wrynose pass is a great road. i also like the main road out of keswick towards ambleside especially the part where it splits southbound into the old part for about half a mile. haven't been for a while but am hoping to get up to applethwaite soon. any cameras been put up recently?
