Hi all

We have at the moment 6 people interested.

Another 4 to go and we can proceed with the order.

Cheers

I have negotiated a price for the Black Spot Road angel GPS speedtrap detectors.

http://www.blackspot.co.uk/

Qty of 5 will give us a price of £339.98
If we can make it up to 10 i think a further discount can be arranged

However,i may be wrong so if you would like to tell me where you purchased your unit i can contact them, but i doubt they are still that price!!!!

The road angel works on GPS. It knows where the speed camera`s are so you eliminate any false alarms. The snooper being a radar detector works on 5 bands where only one is ever really used.(k band)

also if you want to compare the table at this site shows them all.
http://www.radardetectors.co.uk/radar_detector_comparison.htm

road angel was also the auto express gps best buy when they did their survey of gps and other radar detection systems last month.

Put me down i am interested at that price or cheaper if more pile in.How many you got so far?

why is this any better than the geodesy or the origin blue i?

does it have all the features of those, the updatability and the database information.

Was under the impression that since the geodesy has been so long in the market, it had the best information.

look at this site:http://www.radardetectors.co.uk/radar_detector_comparison.htm
that will answer your questions
and for the autoexpress report http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/front_index.php?cp=1&page=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.autoexp ress.co.uk%2Ffront_flash_ie.html
but from that report this is what they say
" A very close finish, and the choice comes down to your own circumstances. Both are reliable and accurate, but if blackspots are your bugbear, choose the Road Angel
- for more on-screen info, pick Blue i.

The Road Angel and the Geodessey are sold by the same companies and the same database is used for both devices. Therefore the effectiveness of both devices should be the same.

If you find a new camera they award you £50 - therefore they don't want to miss too many or they will go bust.

I prefer the geodessey as you can tuck it away nicely as opposed to the Road angel being on a funny mast (not so easy to see in the dark as the geodessey either).

The Road Angel can pick up mobile cameras, but only courtesy of the blinder laser-jammers that plug directly into it.
