Red face

Could you belive the shock i had yestarday morning when i went out to my scoob MY00 and found the paint peeling of in 4 places has anyone else had this problem.

I have contacted the dealer where i purchased it 6 weeks ago and they have asked to have a look. I have sent some pictures in an e-mail as the garage is 300 miles away. I am just hoping they are going to be sympathetic as i don't think warranty covers this.

Paid £12,000 6 weeks ago hope they see it from my point of view.

If they don't anyone know about how much for a resprayof the bumper.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

James.

Forgot to say it is the rear bumper that is peeling off

It sounds like the bumper was either painted without using the proper plastic primers and additives, or was not properly prepared prior to painting.

I take it you haven't nudged it recently??

Hope it's of some help to you

Hi there,

I take it i am the only one to have the misfortune of this happening, so i am now thinking has my motor been kicked up the *** and been resprayed (poorly at that).

Remove the carpet from the boot and check all metalwork for evidence of welding. This will tell you if it has been rear ended. It could be just a new bumper and respray.
