Hi all,

Anyone know when the new twin scroll turbo will be introduced into the STI JDM ? Anyone one have the hp and torque increses with this new turbo design ? Looks significant !

Ya, but I can't read Japanese and I graphs ain't in hp and torque Need a conversion

Looks like these are optional extra parts which you could order for your new car.

Doesn't look like power is increased that much (204Kw peak), but what it seems to be saying is that throttle response is improved, along with better torque at lower revs (below 5,000 rpm).

The STi C-spec interestingly, gets an air-cooled oil cooler fitted as standard.

The twin-scroll turbo is standard in the restyled JDM STi & STi Spec C. Power isn't increased as it has already reached the voluntary limit of 280ps. The new turbo seems to provide a fatter torque curve.

RHF5HB is the IHI code. 280+ft/lbs max torque - with 240-ish of those on line at 2400rpm - niiiice. The ex-mani is also 4-2 (=twin feeds) vs. 4-1 previously.
