7psi might be correct on a Legacy? (It *IS* a Legacy yes?) I believe the Forester runs 7psi.

Exclamation

I fitted a boost gauge today. Tapped into the thin tube coming out of the aftermarket dump valve, when i'm on tick over it reads -10psi to -15 at full boost it sort of touches +8psi then backs off to +6 or +7.
7 psi is budget. Is this normal or what?

Think it may be best to run a boost gauge from an independent source rather than sharing it ie. DV imho of course..

So that the reading is as accurate as possible, extra chance of leakage... Just my own personal preference....

Check the wastegate solenoid is clean. Mine had some oil in it and it didn't give full boost. I'm sure 7psi i well down on what it should be. Whwen i had my Legacy Turbo it was as nealry as qucik as an Imperza once it was going.

On tick over mine sits around the -20 mark....... on low boost with foot down it goes over the +10.

On high boost upto +20
