Question

Have been offered a set of BRAND NEW front four pot calipers, discs, pads , and rear discs and pads, all Subaru OEM, what are they worth and will the rear discs fit directly onto my rear calipers with no problems?

Yep Jason, cheers!!

All xp'd up now

Just stuck the disc in and off it went. Only thing is I don't think this constitutes a clean install, so I may have to do it again at a later date, but at least I have the discs for xp!!

4 pots normally go for £300 to £350. The fact that you have brand new discs and pads would push towards the £350 mark I would say.

Rear discs and pads I would say £80 to £100, but bear in mind it should be many miles before you need them.

Oh and when you do it get braided hoses front and rear, coupled with DOT 5.1 fluid.

Question

Go- on then whats his name? Small place this might know him, on second thoughts, **** he might know me

I've been offered these brakes for £500 which I thought was good considering they are brand new. Priced discs and pads for my 2 pots which worked out at about 400-500 and that is without calipers.

The reason I said £350 for the fronts is because I sold mine brand new when I got my 01UK WRX. I did this in for sale as I remember and £500 was my original asking price, but that was considered to much. I let the fronts go in the end for £325, and threw in rear pads. (Didn't change rear discs) I sold them for a bit less than I wanted, but sold them to someone I knew, thus avoiding the hassle of advertising / selling to someone you don't know from adam. Point this out if you know the vendor - what’s £50 off £500 to save all that hassle?

If I where you, I offer £450 and I think you both have a deal.

Just in case you know him, my mates name is Phil Renwick, he's just older than me at 35.

Hope you get the brakes, you'll love them
