Hiya guys and gals

I want a new car, well new for me, doesn't have to be new. I have about 10k to spend. I want a car that looks smart, and goes well. I dont want the best, i just want above average.

I am sure many of you have been in my situation a few years back before you indulged in subarus.

I have been looking at:

Mk IV Golf
Audi TT
BMW 320

They are a little pricey obviously, but it shows you the kind of car I am looking at.

I currently drive a 1.8 focus, it doesn't do anything for me

I dont want a body kitted boy racer either, or a 2 seater like an MX-5.

So does this pose a tough question, can you give me any hints where to look and what to look out for.

StiwannaSubaru bought an MY99 with 29k on it for a little over 10 grand yesterday. BM320 is a poor performer in comparison. I doub't if you would get a TT for 10 grand and the Golf just does not compare
