Most Subarus in a row

Who has had the most Subaru’s in a row?
I have a Forester Turbo for the last three years and am definitely going to get a fully-loaded new WRX-based Forester out in May.
Am I being too conservative? Should I go and get a different marque for the sake of change.

4 in a row (albeit in a 2 car family)
D reg L series 1600 4wd estate - £500, lasted 4 years & 40,000 miles - serviced once when I bought it and never spent any money on it cept for tyres etc
E reg L series 2.0 GT 4wd saloon - £75 - spares (brake discs) for above
G reg L series 1600 4wd estate - £500, lasted 2 years.
R reg STi v3 wagon - £18,000 - bit of a step change from the previous purchases - a bit faster !! but the brakes are still crap.
Kevin.
