Unhappy

Just bought an STi7 and am a bit disappointed ater a STi5 saloon. Lacks grunt and wont pull well below about 3500rpm whereas Sti5 pulled much better. Am told PPP works well but would like a second opinion before spending another 2k. Got jools name from T & C in Aberdeen so mabye he could contact me. Also note fuel consumption about 22 vs 26 in the Sti 5 in general legal driving. What difference will the PPP make to the fuel consumption. I think the better low down torque make help it. Any comments. Also has anybody fitted PIAA lights to a STi7 prodrive as light covers need replacing to cover sides of front spoiler??

Speak to Dave TS about lights or look in the lighting section.

I too was disappointed with my STi7 until I had the PPP fitted now I am worrying about losing my licence .

Pre PPP the Sti would scare other drivers pulling out in traffic.
post PPP the Sti scares me!!

I am not sure if Jools is onshore or off shore at the mo' maybe if you post in Scotland someone will respond.

Cheers

Willie

It might be worth emailing John Stewart on john@sidc.co.uk he drives a non PPP sti7 and has driven Jools car for a direct comparision.
