What is the best price any of you out there have actually paid for a new WRX 5 door either import of UK dealer.
I'm thinking of upgrading my W reg 5 door for one.
If an import is the way to go, can anyone recommend a reliable honest supplier where the price quoted is one you really pay.

I didn't reply to this before as you were specific about a 5 door, and I have a 4 door. But, if this helps ....

My MY01 4 door cost under £17,000 including all costs, taxes, alarm, Navtrak, travel etc. However, I did the deal myself rather than using an agent. No particular hassle, only having to order 6 months before delivery. If you want more information, mail me off line.

20k for a 3 month old demo with 4k. Make sure you budget £300 for SS box.

Traded in a euro imported Seat Leon and had so much trouble getting rid, I won't touch an import till the dealers treat them the same as UK cars - which they won't.

PS - Buy an import if you are prepared to run the car for a good few years and sell privately.
