Question

Chaps - just a quickie, Im about to buy my first scoobie (a early virgin wrxsti) - I was wondering what advantage a HKS blowoff valve would give me over a normal recirc dump valve (if any) - i will also be fitting forced air induction any recommendations would be greatfully accepted.

Thanks

Stick with the standard dump valve for now, most ppl just look at you if you have an atmospheric d/v and think "what a plonker" as for the forced air induction kit....
id suggest that you start with an exhaust before anything else, when you then need an induction kit you have the options of panel or cone, most people like the K&N kit but you may find that all your going to do is increase the noise inside the car and not improve the performance....
You need to also look at brakes as the standard 4 pots aint brilliant, go for either the Brembo 4 pots or AP4 pots, 6pots can be a little harsh for road use unless you plan on taking your car to the track?
Its no good having a fast car if it cant stop quickly!!

Oh, you may be unlucky enough to have the 2pots on the early STi, sort them before anything else as they suck big time
